Earth Day , celebrated annually on April 22 , is a reminder to protect the environment, restore damaged ecosystems and live a more sustainable life. The event was first celebrated in 1970, making this year the 52nd anniversary of annual celebrations. May this Holi be filled with fun, joy and love.  Happy Holi 2022! Holi, the festival of colours is finally here and people are rejoicing with the arrival of this festival. This year,  Holi will be celebrated on March 18. Holi is a very popular festival in India and is celebrated in all states of the country.  People throw coloured powder on each other and throw coloured water on each other via ‘pichkaris’ or buckets. The whole affair is very enjoyable and warm, as people dance to the tunes of breezy songs, play with colours and also drink thandai! Holi signifies the triumph of good over evil. People also distribute sweets and gifts to their loved ones on this precious occasion.  People dress up in white to celebrate Holi and play with colours. Many families also arrange a puja at their home to pray for prosperity, wealth, good health and luck.
